Kevin & Mike met as stow-aways on a freighter traveling about on the Caspian Sea.  Mike, boarding the boat
from the island of Qara Su, smuggled on board a very rare species of aquatic rodent that was thought extinct in
North America for decades - the Mandarin Muskrat.
 
It was not long before they realized this creature would fetch a handsome dollar from street pedestrians who would
find great amusement in the Muskrat's ability to sing lovely melodies when fed his favorite cheese (Roquefort).

Having settled on a corner next to a fabrics manufacturer, Kevin & Mike designed their first bed linen variations
for the next stow-away journey while the Muskrat earned them a decent living.
